Unapologetically Blooming in Every Season

Every season of life presents opportunities for growth and learning. There are always indicators that the season is about to change. The indicators could be in the weather, the beauty of nature like the changes in the trees and the planting and blooming of flowers. However, you can easily miss those indicators when you are consumed with life and distracted by the cares of the world.

Let’s look at the flowers that we see blooming in the spring. Flowers thrive when the soil has been properly prepared before being planted. Preparation and intentionality went into the soil for an expected outcome. Once the flowers are planted each flower isn’t concerned about the flowers around them or wait for permission to bloom; they just bloom where they are planted because that is what the prepared soil helped them to do. They were created to bloom and stand out.

Each season you enter regardless of what is happening to you or around you, you were meant to unapologetically bloom. Each season provides opportunities for learning and growth. Don’t discount a rough season to the point of playing yourself small or retreating to where you have missed moments to bloom and shine. Yes, I know spring is the ideal time for blooming, but don’t wait for what is ordinary, be different. Embrace each moment and each season to bloom where you are placed.

Unapologetically bloom without restraint and without denying the gift that you are and what you bring to the earth and those around you. Shine bright, learn, grow, and most importantly, BLOOM!
