Hello, I’m Angelia Stone. I’m a mom, a sister, an auntie, a daughter, a best friend, a businesswomen and Founder and CEO of Hope Magazine for Women. I’m always glad to have the opportunity to share a bit of my story. For me, if even one woman is moved to believe in themselves and their abilities than sharing my story is more than worth it. I believe it’s important, even necessary to discover and then frequently remind ourselves of our WHY. Our WHY is what fuels us to dream big and then take the necessary actions to make our dreams come true. Early on in my journey to becoming the Founder and CEO of Hope Magazine, I didn’t even know my WHY, let alone what living it really was or looked like. I just wanted to bring women together. I wanted to create a safe space for believing women to share their “truth”. A community where women could go on the journey of discovering our WHYs together, to support one another in our professional, personal, and philanthropic dreams. So almost 20 years ago, I started a newsletter for about 50 women with the vision of bringing them Hope.

The concept grew quickly after sharing with several people, what I now know is my WHY… to empower women to know beyond a doubt they are capable of ANYTHING. I was fortunate to be connected with and know grammy award winning artist, CeCe Winans. After sharing my dreams with her publicist Erma Byrd, she excitedly agreed to be my first Covergirl. And Hope Magazine was born, December 2005 which grew to a readership of over 7500 women immediately.
